They work well in killing both mature herbs and those sprouting, and it takes a long time before they reappear again.

The other non-chemical ways for destroying or preventing herbs on the farms are through mulching. Mulching works efficiently by inhibiting light from reaching the weeds hence they die naturally. Mulching can be very inexpensive when using things home things like old newspapers, carpets, clothes, and curtains. You place them well spread on the garden footpaths. Every plant that wants to grow below it won't be able, and it is a superb way of controlling weeds cheaply in our farms.
