A Brief Bio of Peggy Caruso

An advanced hypnotherapist, an NLP master practitioner, a personal development coach, and an entrepreneur for 22 years, Peggy Caruso appears to have done it all. Her new book, entitled, "Revolutionize Your Child's Life" was released on Aug 4th. As a parenting coach, her specialty is teaching parents the best way to communicate with their children.

How to Revolutionize Your Child's Life

Caruso said that things have changed for parents. It was no longer possible to apply the same parenting philosophy that someone grew up with. Children were different now. They were, for example, much more cynical and doubtful. One test she does when kids come to her office is point out a bottle of water that is half-filled with water. When asked about it, almost all the children, except one, considered it half-empty.

"There are three developmental stages that children go through," said Peggy. The first stage is the imprint stage. It applies to children from 0 to 7 years. During this stage, they absorb everything around them, almost like a sponge. The second stage is the modeling stage. It applies to children from 7 to 14 years. During this stage, they imitate others. The third stage is the socialization stage. It applies to children from 14 to 21 years. During this stage, they work on defining their own unique identities.

It was during these three critical life phases that parent had an opportunity to influence their children to develop positive mental habits. Each phase was an opportunity to help children in a different way. Unless parents intervened, their children would develop negative thinking patterns because of negative role models and negative socialization. Negative thinking, in turn, would lead to negative habits and self-destructive activities.

In summary, then, parents can benefit enormously by reading Peggy's latest book, "Revolutionize Your Child's Life." They could learn how to positively impact their children at each crucial child development stage.
