The importance of eating such foods include increase in savings, lower risk of having cancer and heart disease, moderation of blood sugar level, more savings, less stress and a longer life.

An unhealthy diet can cause sicknesses such as diarrhea, cholera, hemolytic-uremic syndrome and Hepatitis A, which results from eating foods contaminated with feces. Children can lower the risk of suffering ill health and increasing the immunity at an early age if they are fed well.

Having knowledge of what to eat and doing so at the right time prevents unnecessary weight addition. People accumulate fat when they take junks and foods high in cholesterol. Obesity, type II diabetes and heart disease can also be prevented when junks are avoided. To properly control weight, it is advisable to take real foods and low-carbohydrate diets.

Honey serves as both food and sweetener and should therefore be preferred to sugar, saccharin and other unhealthy sweeteners. These sweeteners are also commonly used in making fast foods such as cakes, pastries and carbonated drinks. Since these are unhelpful to the body and capable of causing diabetes or obesity, it is better to dispose them.

It is also good to take wholesome foods to reduce the risk of heart diseases. Heart disease is mainly caused by over consumption of fast foods such as hamburgers and ice cream. Hospital records reveal that heart disease is a major cause of death in the world today as a result of the emergence of heart problems. Another cause of heart problem could be the intake of oil rich food with cold water.

It has also been discovered that while certain foods are good fighters of cancer, a lot more are great supporters of this life-threatening illness. Many people die in the world as a result of cancer so the earlier one starts taking healthy meals for its prevention, the better for the person. Foods rich in fruits and vegetables should always be taken in preference to the canned varieties. Canned tomatoes, carbonated drinks and refined sugar are some of the cancer causing foods.

Since people can save more when they spend less, it can be said that feeding on healthy choices helps to minimize expenses that could have been made on a medical trip or drugs. Prevention is better than cure; it is better to avoid going to the hospital than to waste all your resources treating a very common problem.

Even though it could be stressful to obey all the rules concerning eating healthy, it pays off in the long run. It's like garbage in garbage out when you eat unhealthy meals because you will always look ill and may die even before you are old. On the other hand, someone who carefully obeys the rules is less likely to suffer cancer and the other diseases which are the most causes of deaths in the world today.
